2009 Ireland DTL Team selection procedures
Home Countries International Tournament/European DTL Championships/World DTL Championships 2010
DTL Home Countries International Tournament: Wales-Mid-Wales Shooting Centre-17 July 2009.
Senior; Best seven scores from 1st October 2008 to include a minimum of two scores from ICPSA registered events with no more than two scores to count from any one ground and no more than two scores to count between 1st October and 31st December 2008. To these will be added one score from either the Irish Open DTL Championships or the Gold Cup plus a two day shoot which incorporates the DTL Inter-Provincial. Total number of shoots-10.
Squad number 1 of the Senior Team will consist of qualifiers 1,2,3,4 and 5 with squad 2 consisting of 6,7,8,9 and 10 etc. Peg numbers within each squad may be rotated by mutual consent.

All prospective Team members are advised to get a UK visitors shotgun permit in sufficient time as to allow participation. This process can take up to six weeks.

European DTL Championships: France-22/23 August 2009.
Senior; Top five qualifiers in the Home Countries International Tournament Team selection process. If the first five qualifiers do not accept, each Team member will be asked in turn in order of qualification until a Team is fielded.
Ladies, Juniors and Veterans; Top three qualifiers in the Home Countries International Tournament Team selection process. If the first three qualifiers do not accept, each Team member will be asked in turn in order of qualification until a Team is fielded.
The ICPSA may enter up to three Teams in this event in each category but only the first Team will have the entry fees paid for by the Association.
Please note that the FFBT have advised that the following rules apply for these Championships. Junior: born between 01/01/89 and 31/12/92; Senior: born between 01/01/54 and 31/12/88; Veteran: born between 01/01/44 and 31/12/53; Super- Veteran: born before 01/01/44.
World DTL Championships: South Africa-Valley Gun Club-19/21 March 2010.
