Firearms Permit Applications

The Firearms Certificate application form for visitors to and residents of the Republic of Ireland and associated information are available here.

Those who reside within the Republic of Ireland should apply for a Firearms Certificate on the FCA1 form.

Holders of a Firearms Certificate should use FCA2 for any amendments etc.

The application for a non-residents FC should be made in the Garda District in which the visitor intends to be resident and/or use the firearm and this process has not been outsourced as per residents applications.

Also attached are a number of documents which may be of assistance in the application process.
