Join the ICPSA
Membership of the ICPSA runs from January to December annually and costs €125 for an individual and €375 for a club. The ICPSA is implementing a private members draw whereby all members on payment of an additional €10 over and above their annual subscription will have an opportunity to win a life membership. If they wish, members may enter more than once to increase their chance of winning and the draw for this prize will take place in the autumn of 2010 at the Ireland Teams Banquet. The Life Membership will be non-transferable and has a current value of €2500.
From 1st October 2009 any individual or club member who recruits a new or a lapsed member (who has not been a member for more than three years) receive a "bounty" of €25. This €25 is receivable for each and every new/lapsed member recruited and is allowable against the individual/club membership payment in the following year (wef 2011) up to the maximum of the membership fee for that year and affords all members the opportunity to further reduce the cost of participating in our sport. It should be noted however that this €25 is payable to whoever proposes the new/lapsed member on the application form at the time of the application for membership.
Additionally there is a Junior membership category for any persons under the age of 18 years on 1st January in the year in question and this costs €50 per annum. A reduced junior membership fee is also available to any person in full time education under 23 years of age on 1st January in the year in question. A student card will not be accepted as proof and a confirmation of attendance from the educational institution must be furnished for a member to avail of the reduced membership fee.
Family membership consists of 2 parents and any children under the age of 18 and costs €300 per annum. To qualify, all family members must be normally resident at the same address.
Trade membership of the ICPSA for those who are associated with the sport and who wish to support the Association costs €400 per annum.
A membership application form is available in the downloads section as an attachment.
