This year's European DTL Championships takes place on 10th and 11th July next.
The venue for 2011 is Bishops Mountain Shooting Centre, Glenmore, Mullinavat, Co. Kilkenny (www.bishopsmountain.gunclub.ie )
There is a dedicated web site for the event (www.eurodtl.com) that contains most if not all of the information you will need.
Please note that entry is restricted to 360 persons so we would advise you to make and pay for your booking as soon as possible to ensure participation.
The European DTL Championships will consist of 200 targets over two days and there will be practice available at the venue on Friday 8th as well as pre and post Championship shoots on the Saturday 9th and Tuesday 12th.

Accommodation should not be a problem as the area is well catered for by hotels in Waterford, New Ross and Kilkenny as well as many local B+B’s but as July is the high season we would recommend that you make the necessary arrangements as soon as practicable.
Visitors from outside the Republic of Ireland will need a visitors shotgun permit. Please find attached an application form for a visitor’s firearms certificate and some details on the process.
The minimum age for the granting of a visitors certificate is 16 and therefore all Team members MUST be a minimum of this age at the time of the event and we would like to remind you that a licence is required for each firearm.
Applications for visitor’s certificates must be made through the host venue please and we would request that these be made en-bloc and at least 30 days in advance of the event to allow for processing.
